생각과
꿈과
같이
타고 있다

sarah kept on walking
camera straining after her gait
the dust before her path parted
as she moved on

steadily

          with a graceful kind of knowingness
          not seen in her before
          she moved beyond the reach of the production crew
          til nothing could be seen of her at all

the hard grey world
          she completely misunderstood

its rich love
          seeping out of joints

     things she couldn’t name
               but looked on with an adoring longing

this world was being pulled away from her
it fell behind her in reams

as she gained speed
                    links with the ground
were steadily ripped away

          air about her ears pounding
          till their proper use was lost

her mouth opened
          involuntarily
beginning to gather and form the word
