parkwind

park equals wind.

traffic’s sea hums round edges
speed crashes fences, withdraws again. stone piled
on stone stores secret wish. jumps off mountain
bike, pulls sudden cigar from bag, smokes in lonely
content among ibis islands. wallet betrays prison
work. tiny lights hit out from cross-section apartments
under freeway. dog slobber, owner happily apologetic.
but in his eye’s corner, a blacktrenchcoatman wanking
anxiously. kings slept here once. rabbits springing from earth
through twilight glow. yellow red green burning fragile
blackness. now, except for three, lost under apartments.
she was homeless, shoes off, enjoying the sun, didn’t need
the letter. driving range below.

white plastic
cages cover
germany’s
green hills.
